Look at this picture and the ride that you guys have been on. Just how do you sum this up? Oh man, it's been amazing, you know, I wish it could have been different, you know, endings wise. But man, it's been amazing, like I should have stopped him from getting to that right hand in the first half for you. Obviously, Michael goes down early. How much of an impact does that have for you guys? You just know how it's working. So how hard was it for you to see him go out? I'm gonna be honest with you, this won't sound real messed up, but I was trying to say stay. So in the moment, I honestly didn't even notice until um honestly, the game was over. I I asked your teammates as y'all exited the court, everybody had their head. I felt like it was kind of symbolic of his team and in the journey, why do you feel like y'all had? I mean, ain't no reason to be upset, you know, um we didn't hit shots, we normally would hit. I think we hit three threes the whole time and we've been averaging, you know, way more than that. So, you know, it was not like it was a situation where we came out and just didn't play well and just, you know, let them dominate us, you know, we just didn't hit shots and they did unfortunately. What's the biggest thing you remember about this round, man? Um She was just doing it with these guys. Nobody expected us to be here. Most of this team is made up of transfers who are getting 2nd and 3rd chances to try to, you know, fix things and we all came together and I feel like everybody took advantage of their turn. You're one of those guys that, that NC state like that to you. Oh man, you know, um I was gonna, um I didn't know if I was gonna continue playing basketball when I left Tennessee, you know, um that was just a little personal battle I have myself. So, um all shout out to all the coaches who, you know, helped me through that process and, you know, figuring that out and just let me, you know, um I've been blessed to have coach keys in my life and his staff, man. They just kept me up DJ. It looked like you had a couple of exchanges with Zach. You, you were smiling, he was laughing. What can you share about that? And then just his performance overall in this tournament, man. We were just talking about how big he is, dude. I mean, but like, man, he just, it's, it's hard to guard, you know, um, when you got somebody and you think you, you're doing a good job of keeping them off the block and you remember as he's going up to shoot that, like he's, you know, almost 7 ft five. So, like, you know, you, you think you're getting him off the block, but like, you know, that's way different compared to me being off the block. You know, he, he's a lot taller, so it's a lot easier to make those shots a little further up. Have you thought at least in the short term? How like your life isn't going back to normal? Like you, you kind of establish yourself on a national level. My life would stay normal, man. Um I don't think that, you know what's going on right now, you know, will change anything honestly, you know, especially, you know, it's all about the trend. So um now those guys will go on and they better win, you know. So, um but yeah, I don't think too much changes for me except a little more attention, which is fine. Talk about those guys going on. What do you think this does for the program? What do you think this does for the program? Oh man, hopefully, you know, um the the city and the people who, you know, help us out will, you know, get these guys some nil money and give them some more opportunities and be more willing to, you know, help the guys out and hopefully that allows us to bring in some recruits. That's what winning does and we can bring some guys in and keep going. I hope that we build off of this. It's important to build off this. Yeah, I need these guys back here next year. Uh, the fact that we didn't quit, you know, um, had every opportunity to the whole time even tonight. And, um, I mean, I saw it even when we were making those bad plays at the end, they still were trying, man, they never gave up at all. Do you want to? So honestly, I, that's, that's up to everyone's interpretation. I can't make you feel how you feel. I just know how we feel. I'm gonna remember it as an amazing thing, you know, um the best year of my life, basketball wise, you know, you know, he's a coach so we're gonna talk about how the game went and, but he was just reiterating very much that he's proud of us and you know, that he loves us all and, you know, this won't be our last conversation with him, so we'll.
