Duke Center, Kyle Filipowski talks about the edge that the Blue Devils play with after winning their fourth straight game on Saturday night against Virginia Tech.
Yeah, You know, just trying to stay patient with myself. Um, you know, staying, staying conscious of my surroundings and you know that I do have, that I am in foul trouble. Um, you know, and, and just like leaning on my teammates making the right reads, you know, if I get the trusted in my back, things like that, you know, don't, uh, I definitely got to, you know, learn to play aggressive still with vowels, but still play the right way. So I don't get an extra foul while being aggressive. So that those, that's just something I've been, I've been getting a lot better at, I think. Um, you know, playing in foul trouble. So that's all I got to just keep on doing. What are you looking forward to? I mean we, we got a lot of energy and motivation going into these next couple of games. So I mean, you know, we just got to keep doing what we're doing. Um, looking forward to redeeming ourselves for this next game too as, as a whole team. Um, because we're a whole different team than we were when we first played these guys. So We got a lot of, we got a lot of motivation. We got a chip on our shoulders going into this game. Is that something that you kind of got that back against? 100%. Yeah, most definitely. I mean we are a very different team than we were in the beginning of the season. You know, we worked really hard on our offense and our defense. I think, I really think we're one of the biggest teams in the country that you look at film in the beginning and you look at film with them now that they are totally different team, you know, their their identities different, you know, like we found our strengths in this team. We, we all know our roles were all about winning, you know, and I mean that's that's, you know, perfect timing coming into the, getting close to the tournament. Um you know, both tournaments A. Cc and Mark's band is so, you know, just gotta be gotta be on our best play with chips on our shoulders. Um you know, because I mean people are still still don't think that that were that good and you know, we still got a lot more to prove you guys need to be having fun out there. I mean, I feel it on the sideline how how much fun you guys having together, especially when you're playing well. Yeah, I mean, you know, especially when when were, you know, when we're moving the ball, you know, again, those assists um racked up as a team, a lot more than two turnovers, you know, because before there was a lot more turnovers to, to assist in the games, but now it's a lot more assisted turnovers. So that's exactly what we need to keep on doing and that just makes the game so much funner for all of us. You know, we, we love playing with each other. You can see it on the court, just smiling, having a good time, but also still playing our butts off and uh, you know, playing for each other. So I think that's the most important thing that we're doing.
