Carolina Hurricanes captain Jordan Staal speaks to the media after the team's double overtime loss to the New York Rangers in Game 2.
You think about that and what happen? Yeah, you feel good about it. I mean, the guys work your tail off and, um, we had some great looks on as well, um, to end the game. Um, and again, we wouldn't even be talking about it, but, um, everyone in the room knows our special teams getting better. Um, and we'll, uh, we'll get better and, uh, we'll find a way to turn to the time, uh, this year where you feel like they're going down. Good question. Um Yeah, I mean, few questions. I mean, it is what it is. I mean, there's, there's always, it's hard, hard for us to know how hard guys hit other guys. And, um, you know, it is what it is. Jordan, this group has been in this position before, was maybe an emotional overtime loss last year. How do you, I guess kind of control those emotions and, and yeah, I mean, obviously game three is huge and we're going take uh our home crowd of motion and, and hopefully stick it to them and, um, we got to, uh, get better in a lot of different ways. Um, but, um, it's always nice going home in front of our great fans and um and use that good energy and good emotion uh to find a way to get a winning game three.
