Former Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski and former North Carolina men's basketball coach Roy Williams spoke about the changes in college athletics while in Chicago for the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame inductions.
I, I'm afraid of what's going on with the, with all the conferences. I wish all the conferences would, uh, would play together and act as one and what's good for college sports and not just what's good for the specific conference that you're in college athletics is changing every day and some of it's good, but I'm not so sure that all of it is good. You know, people like change, but sometimes change is good. Sometimes change is not good. You know, I feel for the coaches, I feel for the families that like to make commitments and stick with the commitments. It's a different world out there. But I was very fortunate to be a head coach for 33 years and I loved every minute of it.
