Jordan Martinook speaks with the media after the Carolina Hurricanes lose to the Florida Panthers in back-to-back overtime games on Saturday. He says even though the games were tight, the final result is what counts. The Canes trail the series 2-0 with Game 3 in Florida on Monday.
Instead you gotta head out down a way to, you know, it stings right now, but you feel like at least you're in, in both games and could have easily won both. Yeah. Um, obviously it stings. You want, we wanted to get the one tonight to split it going back. But, um, just now our mindset is we got to go get the next one and then we'll go from there. But, uh, yeah, you get to overtime and it's that toss up and they got the power play and get their goal tonight and yeah, so we got, we have a mindset to get the next game and hopefully we can get a loss, a loss. It doesn't matter. We could have lost 51. It's a loss. It doesn't matter. We're down 0220 and we got, we got to go get the next one goes on Thursday and the power didn't work as well. What was the difference? Our power play? Um, I don't know, I thought they had their looks. I thought they had their looks and, um, yeah, it's, it's tight this time of year. It's you, they'll watch video and hopefully get us one next year. Thanks.
