Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour reacts to the wild finishes around the league while the Canes wait for the end of the Rangers and Devils series to see who their next opponent will be.
Yeah. No, I mean, I think it's game Sims are fun to watch, that's for sure. Did you watch last night? Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's what I mean, it's good entertainment when you see Boston eliminated from the playoffs after putting together one of the most unbelievable seasons of all time. I mean, does it kind of remind you, you know, anything can happen in these playoffs, the hardest part about that, you know, in, in our sport, I think getting in is that 82 game schedule to, to be able to find your way in is extremely hard and then once you're in, everyone starts over and it's a whole new season and there's a lot of things that go into your momentum going into the playoffs, your health. I mean, everything, all of a sudden changes. So, I mean, I, I, I say everyone's got a chance when you, when you get in, how big of a deal is it? But now you guys have secured that home ice because of, yeah, I, I don't know how much a big deal it is. I mean, I mean, obviously if we get the game seven, that's the only really, you know, and is that how much of an advantage is that nowadays? Like, you just look at the, how good everyone plays on the road. And so I'm not sure it's that much anymore. Yeah, we're just cautionary with him. Give him the next couple of days. Um, got a little, little, little something and didn't feel 100%. So, just kept him off today. Yeah, he did tweak something. There shouldn't be an issue. But again, once we do that, we just say just stay off. We're not pushing anything. Right. All right, you got it. Thanks guys, Hawaii.
