That's the unfortunate part of this is he's gonna look back and everyone's gonna say he got swept and that's not what happened. Well, that quote got the internet going. We didn't lose four games. We got beat one prominent cane stroll even put it on a banner. We were right there and then this could have went the other way and this could have been four games the other way. Now I get the snark and the temptation to throw up a wide eyes emoji. But let's listen to what Rod Burner Moore actually said, I think we took a huge steps this year, you know, coming this far, like I said, with what we were missing is pretty impressive. I'm not sure I'd agree. They took a huge step. But look, they were among the final four teams that finished second in points, third last year, three straight division titles. They use another high end score who couldn't maybe somebody to do some more dirty work, definitely help on the power play. But these are notes, not a rewrite, just really proud of the group, how hard they worked and you know, I deserve a better fate. I think so. It's easy to get caught up in where the hurricanes are going. But let's not forget where they've been before. Rod and Don Woodell took over as coach and G M. They missed the playoffs nine straight seasons. Nobody was talking about them. Not even the trots. One of the many great things about Brian Moore is he will actually tell you what he thinks. He's not spinning when he says this series could have been four games. The other way that honesty should be celebrated not derided. The Kings troll said Rod is starting his joker origin story. He's still batman around here nationally. He's just successful enough to become the villain.
