Charlotte, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have agreed to terms with cornerback Dane Jackson, according to several media reports.
The team announced the news on its website Wednesday.
The NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Jackson's deal is for two years and is worth up to $14.5 million.
On Wednesday, the Panthers also agreed to terms with cornerback Troy Hill.
Wednesday's news comes a day after the Panthers traded cornerback Donte Jackson to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for Diontae Johnson.
The Panthers sent the Steelers a sixth-round pick and got back a seventh-round pick.
