ESPN's 'College GameDay' coming to Chapel Hill for Duke-UNC game

Chapel Hill, N.C. — ESPN's "College GameDay" basketball pregame show is coming to Chapell Hill.
The hour-long, college basketball pregame show will be live starting at 11 a.m. ET Saturday, Feb. 3 from the Dean Smith Center. The event is free.
On the day of the event, the Smith Center doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and lines may begin to form at 7:30 a.m. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill students should use Entrance C to the arena and the general public should use Entrance D. Seating is general admission in Sections 104-114.
The UNC clear bag policy will be in place for "GameDay," and concessions will be available. Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home, but the following items will be allowed into the Smith Center:
- Any clear plastic or vinyl bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", including gallon freezer bags.
- Small clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5".
- Necessary medical items following inspection at entry gates.
- Up to two unopened 20-ounce or smaller bottles of water per person and empty drink containers that can be filled up at drinking fountains.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, the following: Purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, diaper bags, fanny packs, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags.
Fans are allowed to carry items such as phones, binoculars and cameras into the arena.
Fans are encouraged to bring signs to "GameDay." Signs with religious/political references, competitive/commercial brand references, personal/promotional hashtags and profanity will not be permitted. The university will provide sign-making stations outside Entrances C and D of the Smith Center.
Carpooling is encouraged for people attending "GameDay. Public parking for "GameDay" will be available in the non-reserved sections of the Manning (middle and bottom tiers) and Bowles lots next to the Smith Center. Disability parking will be available in the Williamson Lot off of Skipper Bowles Drive.
However, all lots must be cleared by 1 p.m. ET for game preparations.
UNC will be hosting the pregame show from the Smith Center for the 12th time.
ESPN host Rece Davis is set to be joined by college basketball analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams.
It will also mark the 261st all-time North Carolina-Duke game. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET Saturday, Feb. 3. The game airs on ESPN.
