Pulling for the flyers; they have the best coach in the leagues! So did we; at one time! Thank you Jim Rutherford

Philly so Rutherford can finally see what an azz] he is for getting rid of Lavi and hiring that waste of space Maurice. God I can't wait to see him gone but he's got the connection to allow him to keep his job.

i like Washington and hope they engrave their names in Uncle Stanleys Coffee Cup.
Ovechkin is one of the best players in the league today. Go Caps!!

I have no particular team.....but will watch periodically for the next six weeks.

I do wonder what JR thinks about Lavy now as a coach since the Flyers won their game 7 tonight....and to think the Canes are still stuck with MO and others. Hope JR noticed just HOW PHYSICAL the playoffs have been....JR needs to 'beef up' the Canes roster considerably.

Well being that this was last year I posted this thread when we missed the playoffs, and now we missed them again, unfortunately, I will say that I will still be pulling for San Jose. They still have Nic Wallin, better known as the secret weapon, and Bret Hedican is one of there announcers up there, both class act guys, and the secret weapon deserves another cup, as well as Hedican deserves to see another one.

hate to pull for Philly, but as a Canes fan who felt like Rutherford blew it - I'm rooting for Coach Lavi and Goalie Leighton. Leighton was never given a good chance and I'm glad he's showing that he was the pick they hoped - just didn't give the kid a defense and then kicked him to the curb. Coach Lavi did have a bad run after the Cup win but had injuries galore (just like Mo) only management made excuses for Mo again..

can't stand Philly, so go ex-Canes and Ladd as well.

Well, I'm late to the party, as I just saw this post. I like all the "frozen four" teams left standing. I like Philly because of the Lavi/Leighton connection, but I like the Habs as well because I'm a sucker for the underdogs, and both the Flyers and the Habs are underdogs. Both these teams remind me of the Canes last season - no one expected them to even make the playoffs, and they were able to make a deep run. It was much more fun last year, that's for sure.

Just saw this post. Chicago Blackhawks all the way since I have family that live up there. They didn't look so hot last night. Hopefully they will pull tomorrow's game off. They need this win at home before going to Nashville for Tuesday's game.

Really enjoyed the Capitals and Canadiens game tonight. The Caps are a fun team to watch when they are fired up. The first two periods the Caps looked dull. The third, they turned it on and looked like the Caps team I've been used to seeing all year long. If the Hawks don't make it, Go Caps.

    Of course as always......Go Canes!

We'll be pulling for the Caps. We came from DC 20+ years ago and used to go to the Caps games. And just like we root for any other ACC team left in any playoff situation, we prefer to see another SE conf team in the mix if the 'Canes are absent. Just hope Ovechkin behaves.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Caps get the cup this year. If Theodore and Varlomav can hold it together in the pipes, it might be a good playoffs for the Caps.

I will be pulling for the Capitals!
Just like people cheer for the remaining ACC teams in the Big Dance when theirs is eliminated (or not invited at all); I think Canes fans should pull for remaining SE Division teams! Besides, we have 2 Canes on our team trying to get their name on that Cup anyway! LETS GO CAPS!
