    CANES!

Canes now 23 out of 30 NHL teams, but just 2 points out of 8th in the East. It seems all the line changes and personnel changes have not benefited in the short term. I hope they find some synergy soon and get on a winning streak. They're difficult to watch right now.

I predicted the canes cup win when they had kevin adams and commodor on the same team
now I predicted a cup run with ian white and brent sutter as long as they are played on their proper stick side and white gets to play with other canadians

I agree, the defense is playing rather bad now. And need to check more

Weakest defense I have seen this year. Florida Friday night took shot after shot, point blank, at Cam Ward. I bet Carolina didn't check the Panthers 5 times all night. No defense means another year like last year. Defense is not tough at all. GET TOUGH, PLAY HARDER, EVERY NIGHT for Goodness Sakes!

I like Skinner too. I'll be glad to be able to watch a game to see him skate for myself. Go Canes!

The lines seem to be going well, the question I have is whether they send Skinner back to the minors or not, I say no, I have been really impressed with him so far, he is playing better right now than the top 2 picks, and some people said he was better than the top two picks, the Canes I believe got a steal with this kid, hope he continues to do well as well as the Canes. GO CANES

I think the 'Canes are going to have a strong playoff run this year. Good young talent, mixed with some strong vets in Eric Staal, Joe Corvo and a proven coach. Hopefully injuries wont be a problem like last year.

    GO CANES!!!

This has the makings of a great season. Lets hope so. Great young talent.

We need a new thread! The Canes are 2-0 so far. Any comments on the lines so far?
