Cary, N.C. — The North Carolina Courage’s home match against Reign FC on Saturday will be broadcast on FOX50 at 7 p.m.
The highly anticipated match could have as many as six World Cup Champions on the pitch, with Megan Rapinoe and Allie Long from Reign FC and Crystal Dunn, Abby Dahlkemper, Samantha Mewis and Jessica McDonald for the Courage.
Saturday’s match marks the first time an NC Courage game will be broadcast on FOX50 and it’s the first match for either NCFC or the Courage to air in primetime on a Saturday on the broadcast network.
“We are thrilled our broadcast partner, Capitol Broadcasting Company, will be showing our NC Courage match on FOX50 this Saturday,” said North Carolina Football Club President and GM Curt Johnson. “As women’s soccer continues to enjoy plenty of success both locally and nationally this year, we have the opportunity to showcase some of the best players in the world to our fans throughout the region.”
With the NC Courage game being carried on FOX50, the North Carolina FC-Louisville City FC match, which was originally scheduled to air on FOX50, will now air on WRAL2 at 3 p.m.
