Duke lacrosse's Final Four run ends with 13-12 double OT loss to Virginia
Virginia's Ian Laviano scored with 3:09 left in the second overtime to give the third-seeded Cavaliers to a 13-12 double overtime win over second-seed Duke in the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament semifinals Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field. Virginia scored the game's final three goals to advance to the title game. -

Virginia wins first national title in OT thriller over Texas Tech, 85-77
Virginia bounced back from losing to a 16-seed last year to win the national title this year, the first in its program's history. And it was a thriller of a game against Texas Tech, an 85-77 overtime win. De'Andre Hunter hit the game-tying shot to send it to overtime and finished with a game-high 27 points for the Cavaliers. Kyle Guy added 24 points. -
Virginia leads Texas Tech 32-29 at halftime of the national title game
A defensive battle that has lived up to the billing, Virginia leads Texas Tech 32-29 at the break. Texas Tech did not hit a field goal for the first 7:20 of the game but heated up later in the half, hitting 8 of their final 16 shots. Virginia shot 41.4% from the field but 45.5% from the 3-point line. Kyle Guy leads all scorers with 10 points. -

McCorvey also talks about what it was like to coach The Sports Shop's Erroll Reese while at Alabama A&M as well as his incredible journey in football that started with an assistant coach position at North Carolina Central in 1978 and eventually led to him becoming the first African-American offensive coordinator for the Alabama Crimson Tide in 1996. -
