NC Central women's tennis wins HBCU national championship

Atlanta — The North Carolina Central women's tennis team won the HBCU national championship for the first time in school history on Sunday.
The tournament took place over three days in Atlanta with 17 HBCU (Historically Black College and University) schools participating on the women's side.
The Eagles outscored second-place Florida A&M to take home the championship.
The NCCU men's tennis team also won this tournament in 2014.
Tennessee State won this year's men's championship.
