  don't kid YOURSELF, Mike Fox would have traded places with NCSU in a heartbeat, and the pained look on his face at the presser after the acc tourney(when he KNEW they hadnt done enough to get in) said it all......0-6 in the last 2 acc series, with IT ALL on the line was a gut puncher for homers like yourself....unc wasnt average according to the voters who put them top 10 pre-season, they played themselves into average.....as late as 2 weeks before the end of the reg season, they were touted as possibly hosting a regional..at the same time, State wasnt even on the ncaa radar, and barely the acc tourney radar....no brainer who finished stronger, and who completed a more extensive choke-job....like i said

  Just looking at this century, UNC's football record is 61-91. Their bowl record is 3-5.
  
  State's football record is 107-90. Their bowl record is 7-3.
  
  I picked 2000-2014 for no particular reason. I'm pointing this out only to show how sportznonuts' mocking of State only emphasizes how little he knows. He'd make a good liberal political candidate for office. Facts be damned.

  with all the drama going on over at unc-ch(eater) some will reach for anything to claim comic relief- it is sad such a (once)proud university is the laughing stock for the whole ncaa system

  the advantage that unc has over STATE in W/L pct.
  was mainly built up prior to the 50's and had been steadily declining since.
  The perception is to be look upon as a football power is owed to them, typical unc outlook on things
  instead of going out and earning it, the almost 20 years of cheating and scandals over at the hill proves they are always looking for the easy way, hard work is foreign over at the hill.
  It is purely comical situation but as most State and Duke fans will agree it is hard to laugh at pathetic and pitiful situations, sportsnut since you like laugh read the Wanstein report and get a good one, a once proud university is and has been the butt of a many jokes across the academic landscape.

  Although I am very disappointed in the offense since the first quarter, the goal is to win, not necessarily score 50 points. If you need to nitpick how many points State does or doesn't score, it just means you have NOTHING.

  Just got back from Blue Heaven - beautiful day for a game and. HEELS VICTORY - The NC State comedy show wasn't that funny today in 1st quarter - but after that they were semi funny - I know they won't let me down in the weeks to come - to good of a show to have bad shows in a row

  oh pluzzzzzeeee go through this thread and relive all the memorable comedy moments in NC State history....I usually only post after the show, once I am sure it was a funny show....sometimes Moo U lets me down and they actually play like a good team....but most of the time they are spot on. That being said, I am very optimistic that this Saturday will be a really really funny show.

  Both of us could go to the archives and keep bringing up instances where both State AND Carolina blew games late. It would be funny at first. Then it would get lame and monotonous.
