The Jacoby Brissett era is officially about to begin in Indianapolis.
Andrew Luck has informed the Colts that he intends to retire from football ahead of the 2019 season, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. As a result, Brissett, who has started every preseason game for Indianapolis in 2019, will take over as the starting quarterback for the foreseeable future.
Though Brissett didn't thrive in his first time around as the Colts starter, there is a lot of confidence from the Indianapolis staff in what Brissett can provide as the starting QB this season.
