watched a little golf and watched the Kansas race, high lites of college baseball, not into NBA
as spring is here and summer around the corner its more about outside activities-just waiting to late august when college FB cranks up- so today is mundane monday

I hear ya, Max. I don't watch the NBA, but I was a little hopeful when the Hornets were leading the Heat in their opening series - I figured it was worth a look-see. I watched the massacre in Game 7, and that was enough. I keep up with the NBA on ESPN's Sports Center and Mike and Mike, but don't watch the games. I've heard enough about the Warriors. I'd rather see the Cavs or Spurs win it all this year.

Not happy with Gettleman's decision to let Norman walk after hearing that he would have signed the tag and accept the market value (whatever that is) for the year. He is a loose canon, but IMHO it would have been worth keeping him for one more year.

Right Gunny tired of hearing about the Warriors and D Wade healthy now, but was hurt when they were losing in two straight finals. Could Lebron lose another finals? I hope the Cavs win also.

My Yankees just cant hit which equals a lot of losses!

Thought of you a few weeks ago, T! ESPN was talking about HS b ball players and (wish I could remember his name!) said, 'If you're good, they'll find you." EXACTLY your words! Can't remember the analyst's name, but he said what you said.

So Steph gets MVP. Good for him. Good guy and all, but would MUCH rather see LeBron and the Cavs get a ring this year, or Tim Duncan and the Spurs.

Man Big Timmy looked old last night! I like Cleveland or OKC because I'm a big Westbrook fan.
Well Gunny graduation is over and off to George Washington for Grad school. She walked out of Kennan into my waiting arms and we both cried for a few minutes and I told her words cant describe how proud I am!!

Congratulations to you and your daughter, T! Wow - I remember you saying she was a freshman! Where did the time go? Grad school at George Washington - impressive - you must be so proud. Hard to let her go, especially when it's further away (nice having her only 30 minutes away, wasn't it?), but you know she has a bright future ahead. Good stuff, T!

Thanks Gunny. She applied at UNC, but she wasn't accepted, Go figure. My nephew is in the Navy stationed in Maryland about 30 minutes from DC. So Proud of all 3 of my girls!!

You're a Dad of three girls? Must have been some interesting times in your house:) Glad you have a nephew close by your daughter. It's hard to figure schools sometimes - you'd think going there for undergrad would have been a plus. I bet it works out for the best, and sometimes it's good to have degrees from different Universities. Good luck to your daughter! (Wish she was still a Tar Heel, but she'll excel no matter where she goes!)

When it comes to my girls she is the real backbone. Growing up all I had to do was give a stern look. LOL

Hey - I'm sure you're a great Dad, and if giving the stern look straightened them out, you have good girls. Your girls are fortunate to have a terrific Mom as well.

Hey T - How about OKC winning game 1! I still expect the Warriors to win, but glad OKC took the first game.

Was surprised that RW trashed TOB in his commencement speech. I was never a fan of TOB, but thought his decision was justified when RW couldn't commit to show up for spring practice. Didn't think RW was the type to talk trash about former coaches. Wonder if he'll still say he was from "a whole pack of badgers" when he takes the field next season.

Number one Russell Westbrook made Curry try and play some defense. Number two OKC has athletic big men that can guard the perimeter. Number 3 live by the 3 die by the 3. Plus everyone is so focused on the regular season. The playoffs are a different ballgame. The Cavs gave them a fit without Love/Kyrie last year.
Yeah I really didn't see that coming from RW. Wasn't the right time and place.

Hope my Lakers can get the top pick tonight. BEN SIMMONS!! We will see next year if Luke Walton can coach or is it just the players at Golden State!

Being a Marine (Marine is for life) I met Tom O'Brien couple of times and he is very strict, it is his way or no way he told Russell be here for Spring Ball and you will compete for the starting job and I am sure Russell would have had the edge, he chose to forego spring ball and try to play Baseball (pro baseball) Semper Fi means always faithful (loyalty). It would have been nice to have had Russell that last year I think Glennon did a admirable job. Tom believes in loyalty and I am pretty sure he felt some distrust from Russell. I respect Russell and he will always be a wolfpacker am also disappointed both have been gone from State for around 5 years and it is time to move on.

    Nothing mundane about this Monday!

Congrats to the Carolina Men's LAX team winning the National Championship against the #1-ranked Terps today. Congrats also to the Lady Heels who also beat the Terps to claim the National Championship in Woman's LAX on Saturday.

Matt Harvey had the best game of his season today beating the White Sox (yeah, I know, the Sox are on a losing streak, but still....)

Have to say congrats to State Baseball Team for being named a Host for the Regionals. Good luck to the Pack!

Will try to catch pack baseball and hope they get to play again tonight, race comes on at noon
kinda like another sunday -having a golf tournament at the beach this weekend prepping everything this week. Sure was hoping the Cavs would have won last night-they need to win 2 in Cleveland.

Was hoping the Cavs would win as well, Max. I didn't expect them to get blown out last night. Sure hope they can regroup and win at home. Don't see them winning now, unfortunately. Wish OKC finished them off when they had such a big lead in the series. Sick of the Golden Boys.

Curry is starting to get cocky all this pub is going to his head-love to him taken down a notch-when OKC was up 3-1 all the media hypes were jumpin from one bandwagon to another bandwagon now their back, someone told Blovious and Bold were talking junk about national media- what a joke - I pray for a real sports talk show-SG do you remember sportline with Gary Dornberg (hope I spell his name correct) that was a good solid talk show- no bull just sports-they had some good recruiting segments

Max - I don't remember that show. They used to have a better lineup, though, and it wasn't that long ago. Tim Brando used to be on. Dan Patrick used to as well, but now he's relegated to 1550, and I don't get an AM signal, other than in the car. It's only going to get worse over the summer because the NBA and NHL seasons will be over, and then we can only count down the days to kickoff. Speaking of which, I see the Panthers signed Ryan Kalil to a two-year extension. Glad to see that. Also saw that Kawan Short isn't going to show up for OTA's due to him being in the last year of his contract. Stinks. Hope Gettleman doesn't give him the boot too.

I guess this monday is anything but mundane-the controversy at Oakmont, which I don't think is a big deal, the morning local talkshow hammering on the PGA, when do they not hammer on NFL,NHL,NBA,MLB or any governing body of sports- National media was all about the finals, every 2-3 days all media would reverse course- at one time OKC may be the best, then they lose 3 in a row-they are trash and all the media said I told you so. Now that Cleveland has won a Championship all are on board. I am personally glad for that city.

Thrilled for LeBron and Cleveland. So happy the Cavs beat GS and their "Splash Brothers". GS may have the best regular season record in NBA history, but Cleveland won the Championship, and LeBron accomplished what he set out to do many years ago. Magnificent Monday!
