Well, if I remember correctly, TH tried to headbutt Henderson and he was just covering up to avoid a shot to the face........................................................
    .....not buying that, huh? lol

All joking aside, Henderson pulled a playground move on Hansbrough and it was definitely a dirty play with bad intent.

That's what I'm hoping for, T! It might not happen in college hoops because whoever pays the brat back, knows they'll possibly be suspended as well. His payback will come in the NBA if he continues his cheap shot play.

@B: Get what you're saying about tripping not being a crime, but still don't like his attitude.

Happy New Year to you guys. Some good playoff games on today! Hope Clemson wins tonight.

Get what you're saying about the airlines thing & agree 100%. However, I see players doing certain things which are nothing more than 'street moves'. Accidental elbows, for example. One of my favorites was watching dudes act as if they were rotating with the ball when they were clearly trying to land an elbow on an opponents face, make it look accidental. Shooting and attempting to hit the defender in the face (Kobe), etc.

Football - defensive players slamming QBs on their shoulders, trying to injure them. Players, in my opinion, deliberately running over folks on the sidelines when they could have clearly avoided it.

All dirty behavior, imo, along with the tripping, but Allen didn't invent that stuff. Anyway, the best way to deal with a guy who does that stuff is to give him some of his own medicine. If you take that approach, be prepared to fight, but it's the best way to get somebody's attention....just an opinion.

Yeah B, but its not the airlines fault that you were late. He played the do you know who I am excuse? Tripping someone on 3 different occasions is just playing dirty. Maybe one day he will trip the wrong one and we will see how it plays out.

Brat or no brat, he's not out there raping and assaulting women (Minnesota football, for ex.), showing up on police reports, etc. If tripping an opponent is the worst thing he ever does, I'll take it. As far as the language goes, players/students use that language frequently. Is what it is.....

DG used to be really good, but now it's a brag fest every day. It's a shame, because he is a bright guy, but he has to constantly remind us his show is state-wide, he is a lawyer, ran his own business, married the lovely and talented...yadda, yadda. I don't have an AM antenna, so I can only listen to Dan Patrick in my car. Also miss Tim Brando - used to be on years ago.

Wow, T. The Brat won't have much of a pro career if he keeps up the 'tude. He's got talent, but not so much that he can treat people like garbage in addition to his dirty play on the court.

K defended Henderson when Hansbrough's nose got in the way of his forearm back in '08. Not a good trait.

Who do you have in the SB this year? Your Steelers are getting respect. Dallas is looking good. Pretty Boy Brady will miss Gronk in the playoffs. The Raiders will gave to play with a rookie QB - too bad.

Come on Gunny K isn't going to take the heat for anything. LOL! K should have suspended the brat last year. Friend of mine works for delta said the brat tried to take a flight out the next day and he was late boarding the flight and he had to re book. Boy the words that came out of the brats mouth. LOL!!! My friend wanted to tell him that you are in enough trouble already so be quiet and re book for the next flight. Oh yeah my friend is a Duke fan.

  • StunGunn Dec 25, 2016

Glad you guys brought up the Grayson situation.

I lost a lot of respect for K because of the way he handled this situation. After the game, K was defensive, saying he "handled it correctly". Uh, not really, Coach. K should have said he'd address Grayson after evaluating the facts. K supposedly didn't see the foul or Grayson's reaction to the ref T-ing him up. Not buying that K didn't see a replay at the half, also don't believe Schyer didn't tell K he had to physically restrain Grayson on the bench. It was only after that was the lead story during every b ball game, Sports Center, and every sports talk show that K realized he HAD to act, or the ACC would.

Grayson acted like a spoiled brat, and he needs help, possibly counseling in addition to a suspension. To their credit, Bilas and Williams were very candid and said Grayson should be suspended.

Duke has a lot of talent and can win without Grayson. Hope he misses more than one game and learns a lesson.

  • Toddler10-21 Dec 24, 2016

He is one of the best. Remember him as a freshman and how he played in the final four. he was fearless, but he sure looked like a spoiled brat during that time out. Capel just looked at him and shook his head. Maybe the suspension will help.

I have a different take, T. The Elon player clearly tried to back over Grayson and he was just defending himself....kidding.

As a coach, K has to get that under control. He needs to sit a game, go from there. With that said, maybe there are some things going on we're not aware of. Time will tell, but you can't let stuff like that go, or it continues, and it only hurts the team and what they're trying to accomplish. He's one of the best players in the country and doesn't need to resort to stuff like that. It ain't the end of the world....I've seen much worse when it comes to things that occur on ball fields/courts. I'd sit him a game, bring him back.

+1 Gunny....keep Luke out & get ready for next season. They need a healthy Luke if they're going to contend. Why risk it at this point? If the Panthers regain their focus on playing football next season, no reason they can't bounce back & be a serious contender for a SB.

+1 The Skins still have a chance to be in the playoffs, but they sure made it harder on themselves by losing to the Panthers. I'd love to see the Panthers win the last two games and finish the season 8-8. As much as he wants to play, I hope the Panthers keep Kuechly on the shelf till next season. He just doesn't look right.

Congrats Gunny! 'Skins D was brutal, looked terrible, looked confused at times, etc. The Panthers dropped 438 yards on 'em(geez), Cousins didn't look good, they couldn't run the ball at all, dropped passes, bad passes by Kirk, 3 TOs, just got outplayed by a better team. If the 'Skins D were a velour sleepsuit, they couldn't cover a baby.

Norman definitely took it personally when cheap-skate Gettleman withdrew the tag on him. As much as I don't care for Norman's 'tude, I can see where he has a grudge against the Panthers, and I believe #24 will be the one smiling when the game is over tonight.

Kuechly didn't look right last week, and even though he's passed the concussion protocol, I wish they'd keep him out the rest of the year. I doubt they'll sit him, though.

Not surprised to see that. Romo is out at this point, or should be, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry Jones was looking a reason to play him against the wishes of others. It'd be a huge mistake to change at this point, imo. Heard they're thinking of giving Cousins another 1-year deal. If they pull that, hope he tells them to stick it and walks. Cousins reminds me of the future HOF'er in New Orleans for some reason. If the 'Skins handle this right, he gets a long term deal.

Bobby Knight was one of the best. Jerry just cant help himself. Name another Owner/GM that has his nose in everything? He started this whole Romo thing back in week one without anyone asking and hasn't stop. Met Bill Cowher once and a Cowboy fan asked him, we sure would like to have you in Big D. His response was, " Not as long is Jerry is in Big D!!!!!" If Jimmy was still in Dallas they would probably have 8 super bowls instead of 5.

Max - what would you like Rivera to tighten up? As for me, I'd like to see less boneheaded penalties - the Panthers have too many of those. I don't remember anything unusual about the Panthers/'Skins game last year. The game that was out-of-control was the one with the Giants last season where it was a free-for-all between OBJ and Norman. That one was off the charts.

Agree, Max. Romo seems to be a good guy, but he is injury prone and doesn't have a good playoff record. Prescott seems to be the real deal.

You and I are on opposite sides for the next game - Monday night game. Panthers have done awful in the spotlight this year. I don't have a good feeling about this match-up, and you know #24 will want to prove how wrong the Panthers were to let him walk.

Agree 100%, Gunny! I know someone whose brother played in the NFL and they share things with me. The only thing they can do at this point is try & finish strong, end on a positive note, get ready for next season.

Did you hear the clown ask Garrett if he should have gone with Romo in relief last night? And they wonder why the players/coaches laugh at 'em and have little respect for certain media members. I think the guy's name was Max Mercy....(kidding) On the positive side, saw where Lee had 18 stops....very Luke-like. One of the picks wasn't Dak Prescott's fault, the other was probably a bad toss but Dez Bryant did get bumped off his route late.

If you present the facts and get labeled as a racist, the other party is just showing their ignorance. As far as the sports personalities go, you're going to sometimes have the good cop/bad cop thing going on. Some of those guys say things just to stir the pot, get their ratings up, etc. I've been known to troll quite a bit in the past with certain posters, just to stir them up. Throw a little bait, see what happens... :)
