espn talking head are like general media-they try create news, that game monday was genuine and people were buzzing about it without having to be manipulated, couldn't wait to see the replay on you tube, was still great second time around-on a couple of stations blaming Kiffen not being there the reason, some said Kiffen dropped the ball -darn Clemson just outplayed them, Bama threw shots at them but they just kept coming back-Clenson represented ACC on the field and off-down deep I think the ole ball coach wanted Clemson to win over Alabama

Agree 100%. I thought for sure after Clemson won the natty that all eyes would be on Watson, but the talking heads (on ESPN, at least) have Watson going as late as the third QB taken. Trubisky only has one year under his belt, and Carolina was 8-5, losing down the stretch. They had a good O-Line and receivers. Trubisky also threw two or three picks in the bowl game, so I'm surprised his stock is still that high. Can't judge someone on ONE game, but how can a team pick him over Watson? Do feel bad that whoever goes first ends up in Cleveland.
Hate to see McDermott leave the Panthers, but happy for him that he got a HC job. I thought the Bills were going to hire within, but oh well. -

Yeah both defenses were done in that 4th quarter. I'm happy for Clemson. #76 Pollard starting right tackle is from my hometown, (Southern Pines). Watson is a special player, but we all know Roll Tide will be back. LOL!!

Several ACC teams played with Clemson-Pitt, Louisville,FSU,State and Va Tech-there is hope for the rest of the ACC-there seems to be a close mind attitude from national sports media-if its not Ohio St, Mich., Southern Cal, Alabama, LSU, or half the SEC, Okla,Texas -the so called elites -other teams really have to do something special to even be considered-some were already saying who should be next-Alabama,Ohio St. Michigan Southern Cal or FSU-to be fair all teams should be considered even starting out

If you need a QB you better grab him-impressive as he was against Bama and all games before-I was impressed by how humble he was after game was over-you gotta hope for the best in a guy like Watson I think he is just what the Browns need-

I hear about the UNC QB as being the best. Watson reminds me a lot of Russell Wilson. The sad thing about it is who would want to go to Cleveland as a QB with there QB history?

What I can't figure out is that the analysts at ESPN are still saying that Watson won't be the first QB taken in the draft. He played in two NC games, and won the second. I realize he throws a lot of picks, but I'd think his resume would be good enough to make him the top QB pick in a class of weak QB's.

In fact, he's very Favre-like....he may throw a few picks but he manages to find a way to win and that's all that matters when it comes down to it.

I would say this is a feather in the cap for the Atlantic and the ACC, they way Louisville,NCSU, FSU played Clemson shows their is hope, Va Tech improved a lot and played Clemson tough-this was a win for the Clemson and a big boost to the conference, the overall conf bowl record 10-3 and Clemson thumping Ohio St the way they did, in this year of 2016 the ACC is the top football conference--this is my 3 cents

— Posted by StunGunn+1...Watson did what he was expected to do & 'Bama couldn't stop him. Tiger receivers made some great catches as well, Watson passed all over them (420). Renfrow has 4 TDs in 2 title games dating back to 2015. Looks to me like great offenses win titles......35-31

Clemson is as good as Alabama-the mystique of being Alabama sometimes gives them an edge-I think and hopefully i am right Clemson will be able to play thru the "Alabama" mystique-Go Tigers
