  if willing to pay HR hire can be had-if they are trying to budget this hire-might as well gamble on mid major coach and get it over with-Gregg M will come for the money, if they aren't willing to pay for him or Archie go ahead and hire K.K. and see what happens might get lucky this time. I am shocked it has been under wraps for 4 weeks. have not listen to Glenn or the afternoon clowns for awhile, like Taylor in the am and Packer in the afternoon, shows between are bearable

  Also agree that State has reached out to coaches and has a good idea who they want and who will accept the job.

  The ACC final was a great game-thought N.D. was gonna take it but Duke came back strong-not a supporter of the tourney in NY but will have to say the ACC showed the Big Apple what great college BB is all about -hate I missed it but by the time all the expenses were added up it was not worth it, plane trip, overpriced hotel rooms, over 10 times what it cost at Greensboro, will wait for it to come back to where it belongs. It sounded like one of the rare times Duke had the advantage in the crowd noise>

  Glenn is like Jeanne Dixon (dating myself) she would make so many predictions that if 10 out of 150 came true she was heralded as a predictor of the future-Glenn will not paint himself in a corner but will phrase things so he can take credit for it afterwards-some guy on one of forums said he got in a cab with Wendell Murphy and he talked to him about the search-jeez I doubt he would be sharing a cab and surely would not divulge any info on search -I truly believe contact has been made with all interested candidates- either they said not interested, or we will talk after tourney is complete or someone may have said they will take the job and the decision is already made. I would think anyone on the list that is not interested would just I am not a candidate for the NCSU job-maybe Marshall wants it and a big paycheck or maybe he doesn't want it at all, same with the rest - but it has all been kept hush hush-mostly speculation has been fans and media.

  I believe you're right about the State search. I don't think coaches would tell the all-important DG if they'd take the job or not. Watch - when State reveals their new coach, DG will say that he knew it all along, and he "broke the news". It gets harder and harder to listen to him. I prefer Adam and Joe.

  have not listen to his show in almost 6 months, have not missed it, he was on Taylor Z show self promoting himself, I can't imagine a coach saying that, any top coach would probably say no comment-but Glenn is so absorbed with self importance he has to try make the fans think he is an insider-I have heard that this is a hush hush search and only a few are in the inner circle know anything-

  DG was bragging (as usual) today that he knows - and spoke to - two coaches who would accept the State job. But he wouldn't say who because they're coaching their teams in their respective tourneys.

  talking with someone at the tournament(by phone he was there)- avg fan is talking about Archie and Wade, avg WPC member is Archie and Holtt-higher ups its Marshall, this is second hand info guess I will have to tune to David Glenn to get the honest assessment (LOL)-grand slam HR-Marshall, HR Archie,Holtman, Wade -outside possibility Scott Drew(not much chatter) Search for tomorrow coming to a local forum near you!

  eight of Vandy's wins are -Middle Tenn St, Tenn St, Chattanooga, High Point, Norfolk St, Belmont, Santa Clara, Bucknell -that is about half their wins-don't see how they even be considered

  Every year several deserving teams are left out of the NCAAT. Some mid & majors really get hosed because they have to win their conference tourney to get in. They can have a good RPI and SOS, but don't win their conference tourney, so they're out in the cold.

  in the NFL they just need change the rules, don't understand they change rules in game while playing, just need change format for playoff- in NCAA they are making these decisions by committee-when a team is barely over .500 in a weak conf. they don't deserve to even be considered- their is not much than State, no way Pack should even an afterthought, watched Ill. St. They deserve it over Vandy

  It's one of the problems with how the teams are selected. The NFL has a problem as well - remember when the Panthers got in with a 7-9 record? Teams in stronger conferences that had much better records were left out.

  watched Wichita St. they won their conf title and are in but one of the guys on CBS said if they lost they were the first 4 out-at 29-5 and Vandy will have 15 losses and talking about Vandy being in-something is wrong when a team with that many losses gets in

  What a game!! Went down to the wire. Berry had a great game, and Hicks was a difference maker. Definitely lived up to the hype.

  I expect a very close, competitive game. Pinson is in game shape, Hicks is back (but he'll come out of the tunnel with two fouls). I like Carolina in this game, 81-78. Heels better hit their FT's in this game!
