Judging from his performance, he hasn't been earning it anyway........:)
All joking aside, it's a noble gesture on the part of the former Cavalier.
Speaking of Long, when you look at where he was taken in the draft, he's been a bust, averaging 31 tackles a season to go with 6.5 sacks. Teams expect better from 1st rounders. Jared Allen, for example, played for little ol' Idaho State and could play circles around Howie Jr. based on the numbers, imo. In fact, Allen is twice the player Long is. Wonder if dad had anything to do with the lofty draft status? -

Saw this on ESPN about Long donating his salary. It is refreshing to see something like this, especially with all the political BS we've been seeing in the NFL this season.
