UNC men's basketball game moved, Duke game postponed due to COVID

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill announced that their men's basketball New Year's Day game against Boston College will be moved forward one day to Sunday, Jan. 2.
In a press release, university officials said the game would be played either at 12 p.m. or 1 p.m.
The last game the Tar Heels played was on Dec. 21 against Appalachian State University, according to a spokesperson,
UNC-Chapel Hill was supposed to return to play post-Christmas by hosting Virginia Tech University, but the game was moved to Monday due to safety protocols within Virginia Tech's program.
UNC-Chapel Hill's game isn't the only area team being impacted by COVID-19 protocols this week.
Duke University's game at Notre Dame that was originally scheduled for Saturday has been postponed. A new time and date for the game has not been set.
A press release on Wednesday said Boston College, Duke and Georgia Tech University were currently adhering to COVID-19 protocols.
