    Yeah, T, if Duke is good next year, and I believe they will be, K will take all the credit he can take. Like you said, the recruits knew K was retiring. I hope Scheyer doesn't carry on some of K's habits like abusing the refs. Scheyer seems like a good guy, but we'll see.

    Yeah Jay said the recruits may leave. Dude they knew K was retiring when he recruited them. Remember the kiss rump tour? LOL. They just hate the fact that UNC beat them in the last home home game and sent him into retirement... Move on.. Scheyer may pull a Hubert next year. I can hear K now saying , well you know those are my kids that I recruited.. LOL

    Yeah, T, wonder what J Will was smoking to say K would pull a Brady. I believe he is done. He'll do something with basketball in between gardening and walking the dog he'll get in retirement. Duke already has the #1 class in the Country coming in, and I have to believe Scheir knows how to coach. Duke will be fine, and Vegas has them as the favorite to win it all next year. Hope what's said in Vegas stays in Vegas lol.

    T - Kansas started hot, and I thought they'd do to Carolina what they did to 'Nova. But Carolina hit their shots, rebounded and played stellar D. Then the second half happened. Tale of two halves. Expected a Kansas run, but, man, really hoped Carolina would survive.
    Heard J Will saying that Carolina "celebrated after beating Duke like they won the Chip". Bitter much, J Will? Too bad Carolina will have eternal bragging rights against your precious Dookies.

    Carolina will look completely different next year. 5 starters will be gone most likely. It is what it is.

    So glad UNC beat Duke. Although I didn't watch the title game I knew it would be tough for UNC to win because I knew Bacot was hurting. You could see it against Duke. Oh well duke fans will be talking smack again...LOL

    Congrats To South Carolina women also. Tired of UConn.

    Well, who wouda thunk Carolina would be in the Championship game!! So happy for Hubert, Roy and the players. The game against Duke was not easy to watch - very bumpy, but so glad the Heels came out on top. One more game to go!

    T - from your keyboard to New Orleans - UNC beat Duke! I honestly don't see it, but I didn't see them winning in Cameron (sweat box - lol) either. All the hoopla surrounding this game - hope it distracts Duke's players. No one giving Kansas or 'Nova a chance, but I get it. Kansas doesn't have a great team this year, and 'Nova is without one of its best players.
    Bates attended the games, so I thought if anything he'd stick around if he didn't go to the NBA. Read that Love is getting NBA attention with his play in the Tourney. I don't see him being NBA ready, but $$$ talks. Carolina will lose their share of players after the season as well. Wonder if Kessler still thinks he made the best move, sitting on the couch while Carolina is in the final four.

    Yeah I saw Manny at RDU last week. Had no idea he was going to transfer. Smith and Seaborn won't get drafted. We will see.

    BEAT DUKE... I would love to hear the excuses if they lose. After the loss in the sweat box they were all in shock. You would think UNC was suppose to lose for k...LOL

    I was surprised Bates is in the transfer portal. Thought if anything Bates was going to explore the NBA. I thought if anyone would look to transfer it would be Smith and/or Seabron. The good news for State is that Smith and Seabron can return. If all three leave, how can Keats be expected to have a good season, unless he gets some good transfers.

    Yeah, T, Redick also said Carolina has an "inferiority complex" towards Duke. Um, J J, it isn't Carolina with the inferiority complex, its Duke with the SUPERIORITY complex. The floor slapping, fake flopping, born in New Jersey nose in the air contingent haven't scared Carolina in years. Just ask Hansbrough or Carolina fans. This game is different, though. I just hope the pressure of winning it all for K disrupts the Dukies like it did the last game in Hansbrough Indoor Stadium. Such "we're better than you" arrogance.

    That's all I have been hearing. duke has it's mojo and no one can match there talent, k won't let them lose, the UNC loss woke them up. Board material. Every duke fan is hoping Nova beats Kansas because they feel they have a better chance because of the NOVA player being out. I hope it backfires big time. Yeah k giving his players the kudo's . I'm not buying it one bit. I think every team is playing there best right now. UNC wasn't given a chance in the sweat box in Durham either. Reddick said yesterday that most UNC fans didn't even attend UNC. First of all that has nothing to do with anything. Second every duke fan I know never even attended college. LOL. BEAT DUKE...

    Yeah T, State women got a raw deal with UCONN getting basically a home game. Geno may be like K. Speaking of K, I almost wanted to see Carolina lose to St. Peters rather than face Duke. They may have only won by single digits, but they are playing so much better than they have all year. There are no "great" teams that can beat them. K finally decided to make it about his team and not him. Did you hear about Hubert after one of the NCAA games? He brought out his five starters. There were only five chairs. He got out of his chair and insisted all his players sit. Can you see K doing that? Me either, although he did everything but kiss Banchero on the lips after the Texas Tech game. I hate to say it, but I think Duke wins it all. Never thought that until the NCAAs. I won't watch the championship game if they're in it, and I think they will be.
    Congrats to the State women on a great year. Always disappointing not to be the last ones standing, but those ladies can ball.

    Experts saying duke looks unbeatable right now. Didn't know they have been killing people in the tourney. last two wins by single digits.... Cant wait for the handshake line especially if UNC wins...

    Come on UNC. State women played there hearts out. It wasn't right that a number one seed had to play a #2 seed on basically there home floor. UCONN women remind me so much of Duke men....

    Well, that was the craziest, worst officiated game I've ever watched. Glad the Heels pulled out the win, but what a wild game. Duke looks like Duke, and I can see them going all the way. How abut Miami! Never thought they'd make it to the Sweet 16! Good for them. Loved Laranaga's comments in the post game presser!

    Heels looked great yesterday. Marquette had a bad game, but Love was on fire. They'll need to play like that to beat Baylor. Problem is, they are so inconsistent.

    Yeah, T, I'm glad I was wrong about both UNC and VT losing to Duke.
    Hard to say how Tribusky will do, but he'll have better coaching with Tomlin than he did in Chicago.

    I like the Mitchell Tribusky pick up. Didn't realize he made 2 pro bowls in Chicago without any big name offensive players. Let's see what happens. Meanwhile k still preaching its about us not me.....LOL

    Auburn and Baylor both lost, but no one is giving Duke the 1 seed. Yet. But you're right, T, Duke will beat VT. I had a bad feeling about that game. The way Tech played Dame, I figured they had a good chance of beating Carolina. I'd rather Carolina lose the game than win and face Duke again and have Duke get the last laugh. Duke is squeaking past teams, so they can win a bad ACC in the tourney, but there are better teams in the field who can beat Duke.

    Auburn lost. UNC SMH. Wanted so bad for UNC to beat k again. Now If k beats tech they will probably be a one seed. I have always thought there was to much emphasis on the conference tournament. Why play the regular season. k will beat tech.

    So, it's very possible to have a third round of the Battle of the Blues. VT played out of their minds yesterday - no sign of fatigue after playing three games in three days (one went into OT). K whined about playing 4 games in 8 days. I was hoping the Orange would pull out the miracle of miracles yesterday, but without Buddy, it just wasn't possible. T - I haven't watched Auburn this year, but everything I hear about them is that they are a really good team. I still hope the Zags can do it, but they do seem to flame out in the spotlight. Maybe this is their year.

    Two more losses and its over. I have watched alot of Auburn and I'm riding with them. They seem to have it all. Gunny maybe Gonzaga won't choke again this year. LOL.

    K wanted the attention and ate it up with a spoon. Too bad he had to eat crow and humble pie. I'll be glad when he's gone. If K didn't want the worshiping, he could have made it known. He also called it HIS senior night. Well, how did that work out, K? Not so good.
    So disappointed Buddy did that dirty play. The way the Orange is playing without him, they'd have a decent chance to beat Duke with him. I hope this is the Zag's year to win it all.

    It has to be about K, it was coordinated by big wigs (ESPN) and K's staff, those players were all hoped up to win for K, it was doomed to fail, I only watched a couple of minutes, this man enjoys the limelight, a celebration of his 40 years seem like the right thing to do to him.

    Max all the hoopla was planned by k. He knew what was going to happen. Why not announce your retirement at the end of the season? Quick question k said its about us not me, what happened to senior night?

    All the hoopla was planned by ESPN, they wanted to create some air, the Duke/UNC is good rivalry but ESPN just take ls it into high gear, when you get so high you are gonna come down, I think K should have known better, he did a disservice to his players, I think should Duke have based on previous games but as in any game the favorite can win 40% of the time.

    That was Nolan Smith Gunny with the blow by handshake. They both looked like 9 year olds. My Duke fan/co worker said UNC should have honored k. LOL... Asked him do you think Auburn will honor Saban or Ohio State honor Harbaugh? Dude k is easy to dislike. He told HIS fans to be quiet so he could apologize. dude was clearly calling out his players. Right again the hoopla of k was too much for his prized recruits. So glad HE lost. He asked for the rump kissing tour.

    Max - good luck to your Lady Pack today. They are a terrific team for sure and the sky is the limit (or as MJ would say " the ceiling is the roof").
    Totally agree about Case. The ACC series did a great job highlighting what he did for the ACC. His team loved him. The picture of them carrying a very ill Case on their shoulders so he could cut down the nets is iconic. A lot of basketball coaches are full of themselves. Baseball is so different - so down to earth.
    I like Keats and I'm glad he got another year. He deserves it. He is a good man and coach. No airs, not a me me me guy.

    The women's game has become a fun game to watch, they may not dunk but I think some of those girls can out shoot the guys from 3- hoping Pack can get # 3 today.

    My hero was and always will be coach Case, in my heart I do not think he takes a back seat to any one, he was a promoter of the game, the conference and NC State, a lot of coaches today are self promoters, that is where K falls. Coach Case only coached 18 years and won a conference championship 11 times, I do not have a problem rooting for Duke, K has become such a self promoter and feeding his own ego that is why I have a disdain for the present, I do not think Scheyer or will last long at either, when you start hiring former players, the percentage is it doesn't work out, no problem bringing some fresh blood, I like KK but not sure he can get the job done, next year will be his year to make vast improvements, Boo must have gotten Wendell's approval but I am sure their are some strings attached, some assistants will have to go. If the Pack wants to upgrade and get back to a higher they have to get an established coach, I say go after Kelvin Sampson make him an offer he can't refuse.

    I watched all the pre-game hoop-la, the game, and the post-game. Real classy - NOT - of Carawel to not shake hands, and Nate James did the blow by, deliberately looking away from Hubert Davis. What sore losers. I am SO HAPPY The Heels won!!!! My only hope was that there was too much distraction, and K won't admit it, but I think it was too much for his one-and-done players. So proud of Davis and his team. Bacot played his rear off.
    Yeah, T, it was a rump kissing fest, but the players will remember this game FOREVER. So will the fans. "How did your last game in Cameron go, K?" Everyone will remember unless Duke cuts down the nets in April, and please don't let that happen.
    Max- watching the History of the ACC really highlights how much college ball has changed, and not for the better for the most part. It's big business. Players paid over the table with NIL, and under it as well.
    T - I didn't know Roy went to all those games! Knew baseball, but not others. Good for Roy!

    All the ceromonies became more important than the game, I didn't watch it. A friend said it really got ridiculous. The most important game was the Pack women, it is gonna be tonight game, Miami has beaten number 2 and 3 seeded teams so they have confidence but Pack can and think will upgrade their play and get #3.

    I will be watching USC women's basketball at 5 and when that's over a DVR of one of my favorite shows on FX called Snowfall. By then the rump kissing regular tour will be over. k is loving it too. Capel and Nate James all of a sudden leave. k announces his retirement. k wants Scheyer over Amaker because he has been there the longest. What about Capel and James? Oh wait all of a sudden they left. k knew what he was doing. I bet Amaker won't be in attendance....... Please win UNC....

    will have a K story between every possesion, Keatts will be back next year, I believe he will probably let some people go, next his seat will be warm (very warm) and if not a good year will be HOT Hot as each game goes, I was kind of on the fence but some wanted to fire some not but Warning to Boo if you decide to let KK go next year you better have your next coach already in line--- would love to see Kelvin Sampson come back home.

    Scheyer and Davis will be gone in less than 5 years, long term coaches are a thing of the Past, The Basketball I grew up with is gone, it is a new day with one and done, coaches are becoming multi-millionaire's fed by inflated ego's, freshman players demanding playing time or they are gone, the old earn your time on the court is gone, play me or I will find someone that will. That being said I do understand some players leaving, I remember Shaun Kirk from State the recruit Gott stoled from Kentucky, this guy should had more playing time. I get to rambling. I watched parts Va Tech/UNC and Miami/Louisville-- good games hell of a comeback by Miami down 54-38 came back and won 61-59- Probably drops Louisville from the 1 seed line, I will not watch the game tonight, its gonna be a love fest from opening tip. I have notice play by play announcers are not doing play by play anymore, they have conversations during the games, guarantee whoever is doing the game tonight will have a K story. TBC

    They all need to come back except for Bacot. I think he will be a late first rounder. I asked the Duke fan do you think k will shed a tear when you retire? He says he is taking off work tomorrow for the game. Dude you get off at 2pm and the game starts at 6. he said he wanted to get everything ready and he has a routine before every duke game. LOL....... Hubert man I just don't know about him. It's like he is saying we aren't good and its not my fault? Roy loves UNC he not only attends basketball games, but women's basketball, football, baseball, track and field, softball etc.. What games does k attend?

    T - I would have thrown up in my mouth if I heard that "shed a tear" comment. Makes me want to hurl. Missionary work? I didn't hear that. C'mon, Hubert. I know he's religious, but c'mon. Good man, though. I wonder how he feels with Roy in the stands for the games. I bet Roy asked Hubert, but he knew he couldn't tell Roy to stay home and watch on TV. I think Roy at least knows it wasn't his coaching with this team - they look the same as they did last year in a lot of ways. They are better at shooting the 3 though. Heard someone on the team asked for a "shooting coach", and Hubert had to remind them he's still second all-time in the NBA for made 3's. And Jeff Lebo is on the staff too. Leaky didn't close the door on coming back for a 6th year. Would love to see him back, and he's not NBA material, but wonder what he has to gain coming back. He'd improve, but not sure he'll want to come back another year. Love needs to come back as does R J Davis, but who knows.

    As I have said all year I haven't watched one game of the slob tour. they are now in line for a one seed. Duke fan told me yesterday that he will probably shed a tear or two for k. Dude really? I shook my head and walked off..

    Yeah, T, Carolina may as well just play their bench Saturday night. It's bad enough when you see the stats where Duke goes to the FT line compared to other schools. What a circus that game will be. I don't care about that game, but pleeeeze don't let K be the one cutting down the nets in April. The Committee will give them the easiest path. K will win ACC COY, National COY. Blah blah blah. March is my favorite month, but at least when that's over the rear kissing will cease.

    I guess K will take tickets away from 80 students for his former players. I have never wanted a coach to lose a game so badly, but we know the refs have this in the bag.
    Without Bacot UNC would be nowhere near 20 wins. Hubert I just don't get with his comments?

    I heard 80 former players will be there. 80. SMH. I can only hope it's a big distraction but unless Banchero and company forget how to play, they'll beat Carolina easily. I'm just glad the Heels found a way to beat the Beoheims last night (and I really do like Buddy and Jimmy). I can see Carolina winning one game in the ACCT, and depending on who they face in the NCAAs, maybe one game, maybe not. All I'm all Hubert did a good job. Without Bacot, it wouldn't be good.
    I'm really enjoying the History of the ACC. Case gave a large portion of his estate to his team. Pretty special. The ACC owes a lot to Case.

    Playing right into K's hands. they will end up a one seed and play in Greensboro and Charlotte. Meanwhile the SEC which is the best conference are beating up on each other. K has a easy ride against unranked teams all year. The worshippers will be out Sat. Where will they all sit? LOL. K I'm sure can't wait. Come on UNC
