Girls Soccer Rankings: Six new teams join statewide top 25

After one week of play, the HighSchoolOT statewide top 25 rankings had arguably more changes than did its area code top 15 ones.

There are six new teams in this week's statewide top 25: Marvin Ridge, Weddington, Charlotte Catholic, Green Level, West Henderson, and Providence replace Hunt, Eastern Alamance, First Flight, Clinton, Woods Charter, and Pine Lake Prep.

The week's biggest results were by rivals Charlotte Latin and Providence Day, who are a combined 7-0 with big wins over Ardrey Kell and Myers Park and Latin also defeated Weddington.

Ashley and Jacksonville tied, which kept the Screaming Eagles at No. 1 but moved up Jacksonville a spot to 10th.
