Girls Soccer Rankings: Two new teams join steady statewide top 25

The HighSchoolOT statewide 25 girls soccer rankings were steady this week.

Only two new teams join the top 25 entering the fourth week of the year as South Mecklenburg and Charlotte Country Day replace Christ the King and Providence.

Rankings reminders:

• Rankings are updated weekly and released on every Monday
• All high schools in the state of North Carolina, excluding athletic training academies, are eligible for the statewide top 25
• There is a separate top 15 for the state's six area codes that is also updated weekly
• Rankings are paused during the N.C. High School Athletic Association playoffs
• Final rankings are released the week after the state championships
