HighSchoolOT has released its inaugural all-state boys basketball team, featuring many of the top players in the N.C. High School Athletic Association and N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association.

The team breaks down with 10 players on each of the first, second, and third teams, and then 20 players on honorable mention.

The HighSchoolOT all-state teams seek input not only from our own staff but also media members across the state. Rather than tallying votes by ballot, HighSchoolOT maintains an open dialogue with these media members to ensure the best all-state team possible. Among those who have contributed this year to all-state teams are: Mike London of the Salisbury Post; Malcolm Shields of the Daily Advance (Elizabeth City), Josh McKinney of the Hickory Daily Record, Paul Durham of the Wilson Times, Michael Lindsay of the High Point Enterprise, Kai Jones of WJG Sports, Tim Hower of CoastalPreps, Jonathan Bym of The Pilot (Southern Pines), Chris Miller of the Jacksonville Daily News, Matt Page of Tar River Preps, Mike Duprez of the Lexington Dispatch, Paul Schenkel of the News-Herald (Morganton), Chris Stiles of The Robesonian, Austin Bailey of The Daily Courier (Forest City), David Kehrli of The Times-News (Burlington), and C. Jemal Horton of the Independent Tribune (Concord).
