It took 24 seconds for West Davidson to get all of the offense that it needed to win its 17th straight match.

Two first half goals from freshman Ava Jackson helped the Dragons bury East Davidson 4-0 in their regular season finale.

A big run down the right flank broke the ice instantly. Lillian Benton connected on one of her three assists in the 16th minute to help Jackson score her 32nd of the season and give West a 2-0 lead.

The two-goal advantage would end up holding through a physical first half.

Juniors Sophie Lohr and Marley Gouker put the game on ice by finding the back of the net in the second half.

With the win, the Dragons posted their eight straight clean sheet and tenth shutout in the last eleven matches. East Davidson is the only team to have scored in that stretch when the state's leading goal scorer Abby Connolly tallied the Golden Eagles' lone goal in a 10-1 loss.

West Davidson enters postseason play with a 19-0-1 record.
