Wake Forest is the first P5 school to offer Trinity Christian QB Elijiah Oehlke

It is the eighth overall offer for Oehlke and the first from an in-state school.

Wake Forest University has made a big offer to a quarterback from the Fayetteville area.

Trinity Christian School rising senior quarterback Elijiah Oehlke announced that the Demon Deacons offered him on Wednesday. It is the first Power 5 offer for the class of the 2025 passer.

Oehlke was previously offered by Bryant, Cornell, Harvard, Army, North Alabama, Air Force, and Liberty.

The class of 2025 prospect is listed at 6-foot-2 and 208 pounds. He 166.6 yards/game, 26 touchdowns and three interceptions during his junior season in 2023. He also rushed for 216 yards and nine touchdowns. Oehlke was named to the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association's Division II All-State team.

Trinity Christian finished the 2023 season with a 10-2 overall record and reached the NCISAA's Division II championship game. There, the Crusaders lost to Asheville school in a 42-29 game.
