Dozens welcome home silver medalist diver Andrew Capobianco

Holly Springs, N.C. — Diver Andrew Capobianco returned home to Holly Springs on Saturday after a successful Olympics run in Tokyo.
Dozens of people came out to to welcome Capobianco back home. Capobianco talked and snapped photos with everyone who asked for one.
"It's amazing to be back home," said Capobianco. "I've been waiting for the moment where I can come back and see everyone."
After landing at RDU Airport, Capobianco was given an escort to Holly Springs where family, friends and fans cheered his return.
He brought with him a silver medal from the men’s 3-meter synchronized springboard competition.
Capobianco said months and months of training has paid off.
"I'm just the same old Andrew, but I guess I have a silver medal now," he said. "More people want to follow what I'm doing, which is great, so I just want to bring a lot of people on the journey with me and share what what I'm doing and hopefully inspire the younger generation."
Capobianco has since become a star not just in the water but in social media.
His fan base growing to well over 18,000 followers on Instagram. He posted stories about his flight home, snapping photos with flight attendants and even scored an upgrade on the long-haul home.
Capobianco also posted on Saturday morning -- asking followers if he should get the Olympic Rings tattooed on himself.
"I'm thinking ... on my biceps, so if anyone has any ideas -- just send me a message on Instagram," Capobianco said about where to get the rings tattooed on him.
