No. 10 Duke could be without one of its key rotational players for "some time" after an injury against Wake Forest. Freshman guard Caleb Foster did not play against Louisville on Monday after injuring his foot in Winston-Salem in the team's 83-79 loss to the Demon Deacons.

"We have to adjust without Caleb," Blue Devils head coach Jon Scheyer said after the win on Monday.

"My heart breaks for him that he couldn't play today, he's had such a good year and he impacts winning in so many ways besides just the box score and just the stats. We're going to be without him for some time. I don't know what that time is, but we have to adjust, we have to step up."

From Harrisburg, North Carolina, the freshman has carved a role for himself on this year's Duke team averaging 7.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists to go along with 15 starts. He's filled in when other guards have been injured, including Tyrese Proctor and Jeremy Roach. Foster's 25.5 minutes per game is sixth highest on the team.

"You can't look at the team the same way without Caleb or without any of those guards," Scheyer said.

"We have to look at things differently, that's just the bottom line. There's not all of a sudden where you plug somebody in for Caleb, nobody does what Caleb does on our team," Scheyer said.

Against Louisville, fellow freshmen Sean Stewart and TJ Power helped to fill that void. Stewart nine points and nine rebounds off the bench, while Power played his most minutes in a game (15) since December 30 against Queens. Power finished with three points and an assist. Scheyer said he spoke with Power before the game.

"Don't value your minutes off of making or missing shots, you work too hard, that's going to happen, you just throw yourself into competing and I thought he did a good job of that tonight," Scheyer said.

Duke will play again on Saturday against Virginia in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Tipoff is at 6 p.m.
