  Tizu, I'm not optimistic at all. I'm sure K has kicked a lot of rear ends this week after the St. John's game. Playing Duke after a loss is never a good thing. I think it's Duke over Carolina by 10 or more. There's just too much talent on that roster. If Berry, Maye and Pinson all had great games on the same night, I'd be feeling better, but that hasn't been the case. Carolina needs more than two guys to show up big time to win.
  
  Yeah - couldn't believe The Johnnys beat 'Nova after beating Duke!! Guess UVA is the new #1 team!

  Oh, here you guys are! I was wondering where you went since the Panthers forum is no where to be found.
  
  Anyway, what a week for St. Johns, eh!? Beat Duke, then turn around and beat Villanova last night! Seems they've figured something out over the past week or so.
  
  Now, for the important stuff - The Duke @ UNC game for tonight!
  I do not have warm and fuzzies about Duke going into this game. That game against St. Johns was awful and they haven't really played very well the past 3 or 4 games. Hopefully they have figured something out in practice. If Grayson Allen doesn't start playing offense, it will be a short post season. The team obviously has loads of talent, but that doesn't always equate to being great; as we've seen in recent years.
  
  UNC also has not played great recently, but, with Maye and Berry along with others, you can never count these guys out. I love to watch Maye. It is impressive to see what he's done as a walk-on!

  Max - I don't get how the ACC Network works. Yesterday's Carolina/Pitt game was listed as "ACC Network", but it was on WRAL/Raycom. I think networks have rights to certain games, then the rest are decided by some kind of pecking order. But I think there is an ACC Network that's going to be part of the ESPN "family" that's being worked on now, like the SEC Network that ESPN has.

  will ACC network go thru ESPN or will local channel have the opportunity to show games, I think ESPN want people to have to purchase games not shown and take the local TV out of it, I think he (Swoff) has sold out the local fan-maybe I am wrong- I just refuse to pay $100 to sat or cable companies and still do not get all channels-doesn't affect me during football season, I go to all home games and sometime will go on the road-Power 5 conferences have the product, they can play one network against another to get what is best for their fans and they should. Most do not know -you probably know who Swoffords brother was. just my 2 cents

  The college forums are just the same old same old bashing. I like what we have on the Panthers forum, and for a while, here (hope the Panthers forum comes back).
  
  Hard to say with Roy - he sometimes he sulks and lets the players figure it out, which as evidenced by this season, they can't do. K just wants to win at any cost.
  
  A lot of the games are on the ESPN channels. I think the Swoff has worked out a deal to have an ACC network, but I'm not sure of its status.
  
  I think State wins tomorrow - it's a home game and Notre Dame is depleted. Carolina better Pitt tomorrow!

  yea I refuse to go to one of the college forums- just to much sarcasm -I hope the Pack can win tomorrow -it will be tough but If they play like they have the last few games it should be a win
  Is Roy just riding it out this year-doesn't seem to be in the games as in the past, K will just continue to do what is doing -new players every year, I may be wrong but I think is not a happy person unless he has a lot attention piled on him. The local area use to get most of there games on local TV but it is getting to be less and less, unless ESPN and ESPN 2 is carrying the game I think local channels should pick up a local games-not a big Swofford fan I think he has sold out the Carolina's for National attention and pandering to ESPN-just my 2 cents

  Yeah, Max - don't understand it. I click on "more sports", then get to the NFL or Panthers (don't remember which) and have to scroll way down the page to get to the "forum" section. Easier to post here, but I'm not sure the others will find us here. I see a new forum - The Olympics popped up, so maybe that's why they took down the Panthers forum.
