Participants now inbounds with one point of contact in high school wrestling
This fundamental change to high school wrestling was one of six major changes impacting almost 30 rules recommended by the NFHS Wrestling Rules Committee at its April 1-3 meeting in Indianapolis. All recommended changes were subsequently approved by the NFHS Board of Directors. -
The 2024 HighSchoolOT All-State Boys Wrestling Team
Forty wrestlers are making the team for the second, third, or fourth season and five have made it all four seasons. -

Mallard Creek's Cameron Stinson becomes third NCHSAA wrestler to go undefeated for a career, win four titles
Stinson won by pinfall at the 4:29 mark in his match against Purnell Swett's DeVon Connor to finish his final year with a 62-0 record. His four-year record is officially 205-0. -
Charlotte Latin repeats as NCISAA wrestling champions
Charlotte Latin repeated its N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association wrestling championship on Friday at Charlotte Country Day School, with three individual champions and two runner-ups. -
Robbinsville's Kage Williams becomes NCHSAA's 13th four-time wrestling champ
Williams won by pinfall at the 3:00 mark in his match against Mitchell's Camron Cook to take the 190-pound 1A championship and finish off his final year with a 37-0 record. -
Davie County wins 4A wrestling tournament title; Mallard Creek's Cam Stinson named MOW
The Most Outstanding Wrestler award went to Mallard Creek's Cameron Stinson, who made history as just the third wrestler in state history to finish his career with four titles and zero career losses. -
Robbinsville wins 1A wrestling tournament title; Kage Williams named MOW
The Most Oustanding Wrestler award is also making its way back to Graham County: four-time state champ Kage Williams, who won the 190-pound title, earned the award for the Black Knights. -
Seaforth wins 2A wrestling tournament title; Reidsville's Rayshun James wins MOW
The Most Outstanding Wrestler award went to Reidsville's Rayshun James. The three-time champ (and four-time finalist) won in sudden victory to win the award. -
Union Pines rolls to 3A wrestling tournament title; Cape Fear's Samuel Aponte wins MOW
The Most Outstanding Wrester award went to three-time state champion Samuel Aponte of Cape Fear.
